Russell put the "gentle" ; and the "man" in "gentleman. He was so interested in everyone and everything.
"How are you?, where are you?" were his frequent phone greeting. And Russell really wanted to know despite the fact that HIS was the life of a great memoir.
As a frequent, and grateful, guest at the Coile table, I knew there would always be a fascinating mix of dear family, old friends and new ones.
