Dear Coile family,
What sad news that Russell has passed away. We send our condolences to you for your loss.
For a number of years Russell and I were members of a memoir writing group at the Carmel Foundation. I was struck both by Russell's skill as a chronicler of his life and his personal pride in what he'd accomplished.
We also enjoyed those wonderful garden parties at the Coile "cottage&quo t; in the years that followed.
Russell made a difference in everything that he did, something most of us cannot say. His memory remains with me still.
