Russell impressed with his mostly patient and generous devotion to Ellen and her passions, while also pursuing his own. He is an exemplar for aging slowly and gracefully. Elegant, serious and intelligent, he never failed to show good humor and practicality about life and its vicissitudes.
Melissa and I send our condolences to Ellen and all the rest of the family who have lost their gem. We also feel the loss and will miss Russell.
