I can not believe that it was 35 years ago that I first met Russell Coile as a college freshman and friend of his son Jonathan. He struck me then, and at every other time I encountered him, as a scholar and true gentleman. I am sure there are countless people throughout the world whose lives were made just a bit brighter by having known him.
