Dear Coile family,
I just heard yesterday of Russell's passing. I offer my sincere condolences. I never met him, but my father, Paul Foley, Jr., met and was good friends with Ellen and Russell while my dad was Flight Operations Officer for the U.S. Navy 6th Fleet in the Mediterranean in the 1950's. My parents exchanged Christmas cards for years with Ellen and Russell, even after my father's passing in 1990. I personally have worked with Jon and Chris while I was a residential realtor at the Severna Park office of Champion Realty.
My mother was born and grew in Honolulu and also graduated from high school there (Punahou). We lived in Monterey, CA when Dad was second in command at the U.S. Naval Postgraduate Schools. So we have many connections to the Coiles.
