Grandaddy-
i'm still having trouble realizing that you're gone. when i visit Grandma, it feels weird to look in your den and see your chair empty. thank you for all the good times, brushing the knots out of my hair, trying your best to make sure i could retain my spanish, taking me to the library almost every day and letting me check out a stack of books each time, all the encouragements for college, and teaching me to iron.
i really miss you, Grandaddy, but i'm happy that you were around for almost nineteen years of my life. thank you.
